Lawn Fawn Gnome Happy Birthday Card

Hello everyone! I'm back again with another card made with Lawn Fawn stamps. This week I was inspired by the Lawnscaping challenge to create your own background using stamps. There are some awesome entries this week so please go check them out on their blog Lawnscaping.blogspot.com or by clicking here.

I tend to be a stamp hoarder so I've had the Lawn Fawn Gnome Sweet Gnome stamp set for a while now and have never used it so I decided to finally break it out for this project and use the small mushroom for the background stamp. I also used my new favorite set Birthday Tags and the bird from Bannerific.

recipe:
Lawn Fawn Gnome Seet Gnome
Lawn Fawn Bannerific
Lawn Fawn Birthday Tags
Close to My Heart ink in Smoothie
Colorbox Ink in Spearmint
Papertrey Ink and My Favorite Things cardstock
Copic Markers

Mother's Day card with Tattered Angels

Hello Everyone! This week I was inspired by the Simon Says Stamp monday challenge which is to use either the number five or five of an object in your project.  My solution to this challenge was to use five rhinestones to embellish my card.

I'm super excited about this card because I was able to break out my Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I sprayed a layer of Glimmer Mist on white cardstock and then used the Heidi Swapp polka dot stencil to mask another layer of Glimmer Mist creating the polka dot patter. This was the piece I cut for the background.

For the image I sprayed a full layer of Glimmer Mist and then, once it was dry, I stamped my Inkadinkado rose stamp in Memento ink on top of it. I enhanced the rose image with copic markers which gave in interesting effect since you can still see the glimmer through the Copic Marker. The Glimmer Mist is so beautiful in person with it's subtle shimmer. It's unfortunate that the camera cannot capture this effect. I then popped up the rose on top of a doily die cut from My Favorite Things.

Birthday fun with Birthday Anya

Hello everyone! I'm back with another card featuring The Greeting Farm's Birthday Anya 3. The Anya stamps are one of my favorite lines of stamps because they are so adorable and I have so much fun coloring them!

I made this card for The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday challenge. The challenge was to use buttons and bows on your project. For some reason I have a hard time with buttons and trying to figure out where to put them in my projects. Here is what I came up with:

My recipe:

Echo Park This and That Grateful Collection cardstock

Papertrey ink solid cardstock

Copic Markers

Getting an early start on Christmas

Hello everyone! I was in the Christmas spirit and so when The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge was all about tags I knew right away that this was my chance to get a head start on Christmas!

I have an incredible amount of paper scraps right now so in an effort to reduce the scrap pile I used only scrap paper for this entire project! I didn't break out any of my cutting machines to make this tag. I got everything from extra pieces that I cut last year. Here is what I came up with:

Here is what I used:

The Greeting Farm's Xmas Sweeties Ian

Copic Markers

Recollections patterned cardstock

Papertrey Ink and Core'dinations solid cardstock

Winter lace Cricut cartridge to make the snowflake (this was already cut in my scraps from a project I didn't make last year, score!)

Close To My Heart "A Holiday" stamp set with matching Cricut cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge
(also already cut in my scraps, yay!)

Tim Holtz tag as the base

Rhinestones and ribbon from my stash

I hope you enjoy it. Thanks so much for stopping by!
